What it is
The Verify App is IDlayr’s native reference application that lets customers and partners run full verification flows on real devices. It demonstrates the core verification experiences — PhoneCheck (commonly known as Silent Network Authentication), Reverse SMS, and an MFA example (PhoneCheck + Passkeys) — and is intended for PoCs, demos and hands-on testing.

Key features
- PhoneCheck (SNA) — silent network authentication to verify the subscriber’s device/number.
- Reverse SMS (mobile-originated SMS) — end-to-end reverse SMS flow as a fallback to SNA.
- MFA (PhoneCheck + Passkeys) — example multi-factor workflow combining network auth with a passkey.
- Activity reports — view detailed check results and share or report runs to IDlayr.
How to try it
- Install the Verify App from the store link above on a test device (iOS or Android).
- IDlayr will have to approve your access. Any questions, please contact [email protected]
- Open the app and choose a flow: Verify with SNA, Verify with SNA + Passkey, or Verify with Reverse SMS.
- Enter a phone number, accept terms, and follow the on-screen guidance. Try edge cases (wrong number, airplane mode, blocked mobile data) to exercise error handling.
- Open the Activity report to inspect check ID, timestamps, status, match result and network id. Use Report to IDlayr if you’d like us to investigate a run.

Home / Flow selection
- Three primary actions:
- VERIFY WITH SNA
- VERIFY WITH SNA+PASSKEY
- VERIFY WITH REVERSE SMS.
- Tap a button to start that flow; the SNA+PASSKEY path demonstrates the MFA scenario.
- Header/nav gives access to activity/history and account actions.
Enter phone number / Start SNA
- Select country code and type the phone number.
- Accept the consent checkbox.
- Tap VERIFY WITH SNA to begin a PhoneCheck run. The current mobile network is shown at the bottom.
Success screen (SNA completed)
- Green success indicator confirms verification with SNA.
- Completed steps (validation, initiation, mobile data session) are shown with ticks.
- Options: VIEW ACTIVITY REPORT to inspect details, or TRY AGAIN to run another check.
Activity report
- Shows Product, Check ID, Date/Time and Status.
- Match indicates whether the verification matched the expected number.
- Buttons allow SHARE or REPORT TO IDLAYR.
- Detailed fields include Reference ID, Network (numeric identifier), and timestamps.
- Use SHARE to export/send the report or REPORT TO IDLAYR to create a support ticket with context.
